Rescue.

We see all the amazing pictures and memes on social media and we believe that every rescue story has a happy ending. Unfortunately, that is not always the case in rescue, especially with a special needs rescue like Speak. While we choose to focus most often on happy endings, we never want to forget those stories that did not end the way we wanted.

Every pup that enters the Speak family matters to us, no matter how the story ends. 

We loved them all: many only for a few months; some only for a few hours.

This is how we remember those that that did not find their forever homes.
